First Picnic
Wow! What a weekend! Now that’s what I call Spring! And it was even better spent with old friends and making new friends
over some amazing food! Celebrating Easter in sunshine outside and close to the lake like it’s the middle of the Summer doesn’t get any better than this.
Check out this crazy picnic! We all unpacked and shared the food and ended up with quite the feast! Green sausages, spicy chicken, assortment of cheeses and wines, bread, crackers, lots of cookies, tuna and vegetable sandwiches, flavored yogurt, and lots of fruits and vegetables.
That’s what you get when you mix up some South Americans, with Iranians and Eastern Europeans with the Portuguese and spice it up with some waspy Canadians! Do I need to say more?
The trees were still bare, it made the picnic kind of surreal. It felt like a vacation from Winter. But the most fun was just the thing I love the most about Toronto, multicultural party with food to match it and cultural traditions to explore.

Great shots Henrieta! Next time we will actually make it on to the island. Oh how was the walk to the streetcar?
I got a sunburn in April! It was very surreal and beautifully captured.
Great photo’s! How was your walk to the streetcar? jeje
Oh, you are so funny! At least we didn’t have to bike all the way home! But since you’re asking, it sucked! All the cabs that were heading our way were supposed to drop someone off at the supermarket, but when they found out that it was closed, they all turned around and we had to keep walking and walking. Good times! We were so tipsy, good thing Petr had the wits not to drink!
oh man.. speaking on sunburns, I dont know what was up with my arms!! I was crisped. very strange..
Great photos for sure. cant wait to see the rest of them
Nice Photos! Nice Times! Looking forward to the next one!
